Fall is fast approaching and with it the 2008 hunting
season. The lodge is currently in the finishing stages
awaiting trim, wood floors, and kitchen cabinets. Land
management consisted of liming and spraying existing
food plots as well as adding two new food plots. Nearly
11,000 trees were planted in a well known travel corridor
and the existing 11 acre hay field was converted to
warm season grasses to provide additional cover along
the road for deer and other wildlife. Mineral licks and
trophy rocks have been refreshed.

We had a great time at the 2008
Annual Deerassic Classic held in
Cambridge, Ohio - awesome fund
raiser for the whitetail education
center. We saw some friends
from Grigsby Outdoors and met
some new friends. Maggie even
got to have her picture taken with
Michael Waddell at the Deerassic
while he was promoting his new
show 'The Bone Collector'!
